Porsche 911L Lightweight Race History: Overview

Below is a photo chronology of Porsche 911L racing in the 1968 & 1969 Trans-Am series, with a showing at Daytona and Sebring. The drivers were Bob Bailey and Jim Locke.  Originally the car was burgundy with a gold stripe but was changed to white with a blue stripe for the 1969 season. This car has been restored to it's original color as you can see on the 911L Lightweight page.
