The students of 抖阴pro鈥檚 popular Powersports program have the opportunity to learn from a continually-improving professional, Instructor Greg Johnson. Johnson recently completed the necessary requirements to become Master level with the Equipment and Engine Training Council [EETC] after years of additional training.

Gaining Master-level certification with the EETC was not an easy feat. 鈥淭he process helps the individual to apply what is learned and experienced in the trade,鈥� Johnson, who has 33 years in the industry, explained. Despite his long years of expertise, he frequently encounters new challenges 鈥� and shares those lessons with his students. 鈥淚 learn something new daily, and I use that knowledge to educate students about 鈥榬eal world鈥� situations,鈥� Johnson said.

This isn鈥檛 the first Master-level certification that Johnson has received. He鈥檚 been at the Master level with many other manufacturers for years, including Stihl, Briggs and Stratton, and others. 鈥淚 felt this was the next logical step,鈥� he explained.

鈥淗aving a nationally recognized program with the EETC adds legitimacy to the program and all the training that the students experience,鈥� Johnson said.

鈥淭his is a great achievement and I know personally how challenging the certification tests are, so passing all six tests highlights the proficiency that Gregory brings to 抖阴pro,鈥� wrote Erik Sides, Executive Director of EETC, in a recognition letter sent to the college.
